Arboretum Volčji Potok in Slovenia
17.06.2025
On June 6, 2025, we visited the Rose Gardens in Volčje Potok, which are part of the plant collection of the national arboretum in Slovenia. Arboretum Volčji Potok is located 20 km from Ljubljana and covers more than 85 hectares.
It grows over 1,600 rose cultivars, including Pheno Geno Roses, and they form a collection that strives to achieve two goals: modern disease-resistant roses, without chemical treatment, and varieties that make up a unique collection of Central and Eastern Europe.
We were proud to attend the Slovenian Day of Roses, organized by the Society of Rose Lovers of Slovenia. Our collection of edible roses () occupies an important place in the arboretum and attracts attention both for its exceptionality and satisfied users.
