In the honour of 175th anniversary of the De Limburger, local newspaper of the Limburg province in the Netherlands, Pheno Geno Roses company have baptized a special rose variety.
Rosa ‘De Limburger’, a beautiful cream variety with delicate fragrance and abundant blooming, was ceremonially uncovered on Sunday afternoon in the Lottum Rozenhof by Mayor Ryan Palmen, Maurice Ubags, director of Mediahuis Limburg, deputy editor-in-chief of De Limburger newspaper, Henk Driessen, and chairman of the Lottum rose garden, Jan Thielen.
Our CEO Peter Cox and Mr Coenders from Frank Coenders rose nursery, gave a special speech during the baptismal ceremony.
Due to the epidemic situation, number of people to attend the ceremony was limited with the attention on all safety precautions.
