Rose ‘Jordi Roca’™ is our new Edible rose!

Yesterday was an important day for our Company. After long preparations and delays due to epidemic situation, we have participated a formal event of baptizing a new edible rose from our ‘Taste of Love™’ collection – Rosa ‘Jordi Roca’™.

We are so proud to have Mr. Roca, a winner of ‘2014 World’s Best Pastry Chef Award’ and a bearer of three Michelin stars, as our rose ambassador!

Baptism took place in Girona, Spain, and was attended by Mr. Roca himself; our sales manager Mr. Mario Kurt Gigerl; our partner and grower in Spain Mr. Josep M. Gel Brugat, head of Plantes Gel company; and Mrs. Willianne Sluiter from Incredible Roses company who donated flowers of our new rose for this big event.

Baptism was kept away form the public and audience in the respect to the current epidemics’ situation.

During the baptismal event, Mr. Roca demonstrated his culinary skills while he prepared deserts with our new sweet and fruity rose variety!

The entire event was followed by a TV crew from the show Aqui La Tierra, that will soon be broadcasted on First National Spanish television.
