Rene Smulders of Wageningen University explains how their research on winter hardiness in roses helped to create a new range of roses hardy down to minus 5 C, the Winter Jewels series produced by Phenogeno. They are prefect for eastern and northern Europe as well as Canada, and why not Switzerland as well?
