EDIBLE ROSE ‘Renée van Wegberg’ BAPTIZING

First public presentation of Edible rose variety, bred by Pheno Geno Roses, attracted people’s attention at De Rozenhof Lottum. Our beautiful rose named after the singer and the actress Renée van Wegberg, was ceremonially uncovered by the actress, city and state officials and our CEO Peter Cox.

What sets this rose apart from all others is the fact that petals of this rose are edible! Sweet and fragrant, petals of this variety have a raspberry-like taste. It is grown easily just like any other rose and can be used in various range of dishes, from salads to sweets.

Whole Edible rose collection is to be introduced later this year, presenting roses in many different colours and flavours.
